Thursday started off with a visit to Canepa in Scotts Valley, north of Monterey. Getting there early gave us the chance to view the show room, museum, and workshops unhindered. That was not the case however when, upon our return to Carmel, we walked Ocean Avenue again to observe the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance display of cars. The crowd was oppressive and continued to swell as the cars moved off to return to Pebble Beach. It was the definition of a cluster fuck by any measure.
