Saturday was the first of two track days at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and unfortunately the Le Mans and F1 cars were not racing until Sunday, our travel day home. Still all cars were in the pits, and many cars raced on Saturday to provide great sounds, smells, and some thrills. There were some celebrity sightings, and the pit access is unsurpassed for regular folk like me. As if often the case, Porsche was well represented and performed well in the races that I saw. This was continued on Sunday, and next time I attend I will be sure to go to the track both days.
