Spin Stations

All these stations are hand made from natural wood, sealed and finished with a high quality wax that is easy to maintain. There are two types of lenses. The first is a double concave scientific lens, 75mm (3″) in diameter with a 500mm focal length (FL). This means that are relatively flat, like a cosmetic mirror. (Not as curved as a Billetspin K9, which has a 200mm FL I believe.) Any top, no matter how “flat” the bottom, will spin on this glass. The second glass is a 50mm (2″) double concave lens with a long FL of over 500mm. (I used to use watch glass before I found the double concave lenses.) The smaller lenses are part of my Precision Spin Station (PSS) series. They require a precision launch, and are designed to show off the top with minimal distraction from the lens or station.
