This is an area where I share some of my interests, including bicycles, cars, woodwork especially spinning tops, and sketches.

I was born in Perth, Western Australia, and moved to the US to study for my PhD in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Following those wonderful years at UCSB, I accepted a position in the Economics Department at the University of New Mexico, and have been there ever since. I have two daughters.
