Ec212 (4), Spring 2015 – Reflections

I have now taught Economics 212 – Personal Investing online four times. Woohoo!

This class showed some interesting differences in performance from previous classes. Below is the grade distribution. You can see that 6 student withdrew and 4 students forgot to withdraw (total of 11%). Of the other 80 that finished the course with a grade, all but one passed, and 60% earned a grade of A (A-, A or A+.) This is the largest number of students obtaining these excellent grades ever in this course. Since the class is not easy, I attribute this performance to students working hard, and learning a lot.
